A thin layer of gold (the most efficient reflector of radiant heat known) on the polycarbonate shield reflects radiation while allowing visible light to pass through for clear vision. It features an abrasion-resistant coating that protects the gold layer on the outside, anti-fog coating on inside. Adjustable ratchet headgear fits a variety of sizes.
