The Vector PFD with RECCO® technology combines groundbreaking advances in fit and construction with modern rescue technology to create a better-fitting, better-performing life jacket for whitewater safety and rescue. Starting with NRS Orbit Fit™ technology and Every Body Design™, we engineered every feature and component to enhance comfort, usability and performance on the water. Two RECCO reflectors revolutionize searchability and wearer safety on even the most remote missions.
Designed with commercial outfitters in mind, the NRS Via Helmet delivers safe, comfortable and economical protection for rafters and paddlers on all levels of whitewater.
For those shoulder-season days when it's too warm for dry socks but wading into the water chills your toes, the 2 mm neoprene NRS Wetsocks offer added cushioning and the right amount of warmth. Perfect for wearing with sandals or wetshoes.
Sitting in the safety of the eddy, the tangles of current blocking the downstream flow can feel insurmountable. With latex gaskets and advanced waterproof construction, the Women’s Foray Dry Suit lets boaters and professional responders extend their season and face the challenge—no spray skirt required.
Worn around a paddler's waist, the NRS Zephyr Inflatable PFD is the perfect alternative to traditional life jackets for flatwater or near-shore stand-up paddling.
Using the highest quality LED available, the Princeton Tec Aqua Strobe LED is sure to grab attention whether it's on your PFD or your boat.
Make yourself visible with the Eco Flare™ personal locator light. An essential safety item for sea kayakers, it comes complete with two bulbs: one for constant area light and a flashing red LED. Whether you're paddling through shipping lanes or just across the bay, Eco Flare™ will allow you to be seen.
Built to the standards of rescue professionals, the NRS Rapid Rescuer PFD goes beyond a flotation device. With advanced features, the Rapid Rescuer becomes a wearable tool during an emergency.
A full-coverage wetsuit designed specifically for rescue crews. The NRS Rescue Wetsuit provides our highest level of insulation, while retaining mobility. 3-mm DuPont® neoprene with Titanium gives you superior heat retention and protection from the cold. 3-mm PowerSpan™ neoprene panels in the shoulders, back and arms greatly increases mobility and reduces binding. Full length double-pull YKK® front zipper along with wrist and ankle zippers make this suit easy to get in and out of.
In recognition of the unique requirements found in Swift Water Rescue, SMC has created an entirely new pulley for 2005. This aluminum pulley weighs 6 oz. and features a 2" sheave. The anodized aluminum sideplates feature a series of holes which help to minimize the hydroplaning effect that might otherwise occur with a typical pulley. Sideplates are also configured to allow this pulley to work as a Prusik Minding Pulley. Sealed Ball Bearings provide optimal efficiency.
