
CONFINED SPACE ENTRY & CONFINED SPACE RESCUE

These courses were designed for hands-on training and are tailored to the unique concerns that are involved with confined space entry and rescue. The program will cover 29 CFR 1910.146 (OSHA) permit-required confined space and 29 CFR 1910.147 (OSHA), Lock-Out / Tag-Out. This comprehensive course will include a review of rescue equipment and supplies, rescue techniques, training requirements, and performance testing.

The Transportation Inspection Workshop has been developed and is being offered to industry, federal, state, and local agencies that want to upgrade their employees' skills in this subject area. Programs are offered for Tank Car, Hopper Car, Cargo Tank, Portable Tank, and Loading Blocking and Bracing.

The U.S. Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) requires that a thorough inspection be given to all commercial vehicles using the nation's rail, highway, and waterways systems. All such inspections must be completed by qualified individuals and properly documented before any vehicle can be loaded or shipped.
